Everything is better with a LED

This one of my last prints, a Kryptonian Key [Ecogeeco] inspired from Man of Steel movie. I decided to print it in transparent PLA to allow insertion of a LED.

While the original model would have already been pretty cool printed in black, I decided to test transparent PLA from Ultimaker.

The best results were obtained printing at low speed (20 mm/s) with 0% infill, 1.2 mm shell, 210°C and layers of 0.1mm. Printing with a full infill stops the light and its hard to light it correctly. At higher speed (50 mm/s) PLA becomes brilliant (might also be a temperature factor, but I did not tested it).

Now, it would be great to make a light stand for this one.
